Disney+ Hotstar Launches 3 new Subscription Plans, price starts from Rs.499
Disney+ Hotstar new plans, Disney plus Hotstar new subscription plan, Disney+ Hotstar which is one of the most popular OTT platforms in India has increased its subscription plan rates. Whereas its VIP plan was Rs.399 now it’s become Rs.499 and the plan name also has been changed.

What is the new Subscription plan of Disney+ Hotstar?
Disney+ Hotstar launches three new subscriptions plans for the users and their plan’s name is Mobile, Super, and Premium. The New Subscription Plans will be effective from 1st September 2021.
Starting 1st September 2021, all new subscribers can opt for one of the three plans. In all their subscription plans, you will get access to all contents of this platform.
e.g. Unlimited live sports (Cricket, Pro Kabaddi League, ISL, Tennis grand slams, Premier League, F1 & more)
Latest Indian movie digital premieres, Hotstar Specials, and Star serials before TV
Disney+ Originals, popular Disney movies & kid’s shows (in English & select Indian languages)
All three Subscription plans come with some restrictions:
1. Mobile Plan
The price for this plan is Rs.499 per year. As their name suggests that this plan is only for mobile users who like to watch Movies, Cricket, TV, Web series, etc. on their smartphones.
This plan is only for one device support that means you can log in to any one device at a time (the previously logged-in devices will be auto-logged out when you log into a second device).
Paid content can only be viewed on Mobile devices but you can continue to watch free content on all platforms, including web and Smart TV, etc.
In this plan, you will get maximum video quality up to 720p and stereo audio quality supports and you will get to see Ads when you watch any movies, tv shows, etc.
2. Super Plan
The price for this subscription plan is Rs.899 per year. In this plan, you can log in up to two devices at a time (logging into a 3rd device will result in 1 of the previously logged-in devices being auto logged out).
In this subscription plan, all content can be enjoyed on any supported platform like Mobile, Web, and supported Living Room devices. In this plan, there is no restriction like its mobile plan (Rs.499/Year) that you can view paid content only on mobile devices.
In this plan, you will get maximum video quality up to 1080p and Dolby 5.1 audio quality supports, and also you will get to see Ads when you watch any movies, tv shows, etc.

3. Premium Plan
The price for this subscription plan is Rs.1499 per year. In this plan, you can log in up to 4 devices at a time (logging into any additional device will result in 1 of the previously logged-in devices being auto logged out).
All content can be enjoyed on any supported platform like Mobile, Web, and supported Living Room devices. In this subscription plan, you will get maximum video quality up to 4K and Dolby 5.1 audio quality supports.
In this premium plan, you will not get to see any ads and can enjoy Ad-free Entertainment, except in LIVE content such as sports and other LIVE shows that continue to be ad-supported.

I am an existing Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscriber. How will the new plan impact me?
All the existing Disney+ Hotstar Premium users will continue to enjoy the benefits of their current plan until the membership expires
Can I use both the old and new plans simultaneously?
If you have an existing Disney+ Hotstar VIP/ Premium Plan, it will be migrated to the appropriate new plan and will continue till the current membership expiry.
All the existing Disney+ Hotstar VIP members will migrate to the new Mobile Plan while enjoying the best of both plans. Users will be able to watch English content across multiple devices until the time their current membership expires.
Can I buy a Sports only plan?
No, there is no exclusive Sports plan. LIVE Sports is offered as part of all three plans – Mobile, Super, and Premium.
